In Love In Berlin
Even the Berlin Wall couldn't come between Canadian-born Meg and her German lover Jim! We crossed Am Oberbaum bridge into East Berlin on this cold January day and explored the amazing graffiti that covers Kreuzberg and Fredrichshain buildings from head to toe. The couple did their best to heat up the streets for us all ;)
I spent the month of January in Berlin. Despite the cold, the city was alive and kicking! I stayed with my good friend Meg and her posse of French artists, and I fell in love with the place. Thank you SO much for your hospitality my dears!! I can't wait to return. ~k

Carmen at the barre
Dancer, Carmen Duncan, is portrayed here in a vintage style inspired by Bizet's nineteenth century opera, "Carmen" - the beautiful gypsy who wooed an inexperienced soldier! Carmen is a teacher at the Canadian Children's Dance Theatre.
